Jonathan Kellerman and His Leading Lady
Jonathan Kellerman has been producing fantastic crime fiction novels since 1985. He has published over 20 novels starring Alex Delaware, a child psychologist and unofficial fighter of crime. The books follow Alex’s career and personal life while maintaining a fast pace and heart-pounding suspense.
Dr. Delaware’s supporting character is Milo Sturgis, a gay Homicide Detective from West Hollywood. Milo’s character goes against all the commonly held stereotypes about police officers and gay males in general. Faye Kellerman
Jonathan Kellerman’s wife, Faye Kellerman, has an illustrious career of her own. She writes crime fiction novels that star Los Angeles Police Detective Peter Decker and his wife, Rina Lazarus. Rina is an Orthodox Jew, and Peter has converted to her religion in order to be granted permission to marry her.
Faye Kellerman brings to life all the challenges that face an Orthodox Jew in modern society, and her readers develop an intimate relationship with the realistic characters portrayed in her novels. The reader becomes subconsciously invested in the outcomes of their adventures, and is compelled to find out what happens next.
